Dress Attire |
Fall weather in Arkansas is typically still warm. Evenings can be chilly so you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater you can use or remove. All activities are in the same building, which is connected to the lodging building by covered walk-ways. Dress is very casual and comfortable shoes are a must. In keeping with the “Farmers Market” theme you are certainly welcome to wear an apron if you so desire.
For classroom seating feel free to bring a chair cushion or anything else that will make you more comfortable. Chocolate is always encouraged!

This challenge is dedicated to all those wonderful farm women that wore an apron every day. Anything is acceptable in this category so long as it is in some way connected to the apron theme. Examples: a quilt featuring aprons, something made from old aprons, an apron made from duct tape, a Barbie doll apron, a painting of an apron(s), a sock monkey apron, a hat embellished with tiny aprons. Okay, you get the idea.
Rules are that it has to be something you made. You can not bring in old Aunt Agatha’s antique apron as an entry. However, if you do something new and unique with old Aunt Agatha’s antique apron, like cut it up and make a stuffed bear with it, then you may enter the bear in the apron challenge. Please put a label or hang tag on your entry. If not immediately obvious, you will need to explain how your entry is apron-related.
First, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded by viewer’s choice at Friday night’s party.
All apron challenge entries must be submitted by noon, Friday.
